Immersive path for logistic learning. There are also forklifts.

AnotheRealityLearningPC + VRSingle and multiplayer

Atlab is a multiplayer immersive educational platform supporting the curriculum of ITS institutes specialized in transport and logistics.

The application, accessible in virtual reality or via a web browser, allows students to engage in themed training scenarios with various exercise setups, and serves as a powerful tool for teachers to provide more engaging and illustrative explanations.

The product is an Enterprise version of AnotheReality's Reflectis, deployed both in the Cloud and On-Premise on physical machines.

My Role in the Project

My role in the project Atlab was Lead Developer.

I followed the project from the early stages of analysis and coordination, collaborating with the Client and various Subject Matter Experts on the educational topics addressed. During the various analysis and brainstorming meetings, I contributed in terms of feasibility and strategic technical choices for implementing the agreed-upon features.

While preparing the theoretical documentation and the Game Design Document (managed by the Head of Design of AnotheReality), I contributed to the creation of algorithms in Google Sheets to define the randomly selectable simulation scenarios that make up the experience.

I then handled time estimates and planning for the implementations for myself and the other development team members, and I actively participated in the production of the scenarios, mainly during the initial phase.

Atlab is based on AnotheReality's Reflectis platform, in whose development cycle I was involved both operationally and in defining the features in the short-term roadmap. I also followed the definition of components to integrate into the platform for the benefit of the project, following technical analysis and planning.

Throughout the entire project cycle, together with the Head of Design, I served as the main technical reference and historical memory supporting the Project Manager, as well as a direct point of contact in operational communications.
