Arkakscion
Beat'em up, Arcade Cabinets VS Aliens in Pixel Art.
In the '80s the Earth sent a message in space hoping to receive a response from some intelligent civilization in the universe.
Years later, after receiving the message, an alien civilization is heading towards the earth but with the intent to launch a large-scale invasion and to steal the most important asset of the Earth: Video games.
Arkakscion is a Beat'em up, Arcade Cabinets VS Aliens in Pixel Art.

My Role in the Project
My role in the academic project Arkakscion was Lead Programmer.
The main challenge was working in Construct 2 with multiple programmers simultaneously. For this reason, I focused primarily on coordinating with the Design and Art departments and, when necessary, providing technical support to the other programmer on the team.
Among the features I implemented are the player and camera movement mechanics, and the management of the rendering order (depth) of characters and NPCs, simulated on a 2D canvas without automatic depth handling.
